Free of charge, OPEN M Employment Services delivers one on one employment support, access to 50+ employer partners and workshops focused on job readiness, placement, retention and financial empowerment to adults in Summit County. The OPEN M Employment Services team aims to help individuals overcome personal barriers to find meaningful employment and advance in their careers.

Job Readiness Workshops
We offer free workshops to job seekers who need additional support. This program focuses on barrier identification and resolution, soft skills training, job readiness, and job retention. Complete with mock interviews and resume support, this program is intended to help participants prepare for interviews, land a job, and keep it.
One on One Support
Our Employment Services team will be with you every step of the way, from the first day you arrive until securing employment and beyond. Employment Specialists provide assessments and instruction on a variety of topics including communication skills, conflict resolution, and professional development. There is also access to tablets and free Wi-Fi to search and apply for jobs. Once hired, the relationship continues for future career development and mentoring.
Employer Partners
We have a great network of Employer Partners in the community who understand the important steps our participants are taking. They look forward to employing the right candidates for their open positions.
Peer Mentoring Group
Peer mentoring groups convene bi-monthly to support ongoing personal and professional development, including financial empowerment, following employment. These sessions are designed to help participants set and organize both long-term and short-term goals. Meetings are conducted virtually or in person at varied times to accommodate diverse work schedules.
