OPEN M Board of Directors Appoints New President

OPEN M has announced the appointment of Bob Pacanovsky, owner of the Black Tie Experience, as their new Board President. Pacanovsky will succeed John Margida, who has served as President since February 2019.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my involvement with OPEN M as the Board Chair for the next two years. It’s a joy to work with an outstanding staff and board members who are always looking for ways to make a difference to so many people right here in Summit County,” said Pacanovsky.

About Bob Pacanovsky

An entrepreneur for more than 20 years, primarily in the hospitality industry, Bob and his team had one opportunity to create both a wow experience and a lasting impression on his customers and their guests. He has turned that expertise into a series of keynote speeches and trainings he calls the “Black Tie Experience.”

Bob launched a new company in January, 2015, after selling his catering and event company that he founded in 2000. He has now turned his attention to delivering seminars and trainings on Service Excellence and Hospitality to achieve loyal customers through his Keynote Seminars and company trainings.

Bob has achieved Professional Member status of the National Speakers Association. He has spoken throughout the United States to numerous companies, associations and organizations.

Bob is a graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was chosen as a Distinguished Sales & Marketing Executive from Sales & Marketing Executives International. He is a Leadership Akron-Class 23 graduate. He currently serves as the Board Chair for OPEN M. He is also the current past president of NSA (National Speakers Association) - Pittsburgh Chapter, and also serves on the boards of COSE (Council of Smaller Enterprises) and Jennings Senior Living.
