Employment Services Focusing on Resume Help this Spring

OPEN M Employment Services is hosting free in-person and virtual resume workshops beginning March 1 - April 30 to help job seekers create a resume that will land them interviews. Led by OPEN M Employment Services professionals, the team will work one-on-one with individuals of all experience levels to assist them in creating a resume to showcase their skill set, experience and expertise.

Upon completion of the workshops, participants wishing to connect with OPEN M’s network of employer and apprenticeship program partners will be assisted with applying free of charge by a member of the Employment Services staff. Since the program’s inception in 2014, more than 400 individuals have been helped with finding jobs in Summit County by OPEN M Employment Services.

“We know finding work in today’s job market continues to be a challenge. With so many people unemployed or under-employed, we want to do our part in helping families get back on their feet. Our team is excited to share our effective resume writing strategies to help participants feel confident and prepared when employment opportunities arise,” said Christine Curry, OPEN M CEO.

To sign up for resume help, please email employment@openm.org with “Resume Help” in the subject line or call 330-434-0110 ext. 423.
