OPEN M Update

WELCOME BACK!

We are overjoyed to welcome back many of our volunteers to the food pantry, health clinic and job readiness workshops. Each and every one of you have been missed and we are truly grateful to be back together again.

This spring, the OPEN M Employment Services team hosted our first in-person, week-long workshop in more than a year. We have registered nearly 20 new patients in our medical clinic, and we continue to serve families right here in our community through our food pantry. In fact, as of April 30th, more than 245,000 pounds of food have been distributed to 5,009 households, nourishing more than 12,000 individuals. Through our new partnership with Summit County Humane Society, we have provided food for 109 dogs and 88 cats.

As the State of Ohio begins opening up, we are looking forward to visiting with you during the coming months. We encourage you to make plans to join us at the following events:

• Community Cookout, July 22, 941 Princeton Street 11:30 AM to 1 PM

• 2021 Gala - Honoring the life and legacy of Phil Maynard, September 10, St. George’s Party Center, 6 to 10 PM

• Harry and Fran Donovan Dental Clinic Dedication, October 13, 2 to 4 PM

Save these dates on your calendar and be sure to visit our website at www.openm.org to stay current on the good things OPEN M does for our community.

Your continued prayers and support for OPEN M helps us daily as we serve our brothers, sisters, and families in need.

Gratefully yours,

Christine R. Curry
CEO
